The Student Council President is a Maid! is a shōjo manga series by Hiro Fujiwara. The story centers around Misaki Ayuzawa, the student council president of the previously all-boys high school who is particularly strict on the boys, and her relationship with Takumi Usui who after he discovers that Misaki works at a maid café to support her family.

Summary:
Once an all boys school, Seika High, a renowned school full of reckless and filthy students, has recently become a co-ed school. However, with the female population still remaining a minority even after the change over the recent years, Misaki Ayuzawa takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow a chance for the girls to feel safer in the rough environment. Even the teachers are on her side.
Training, studying and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation, among the male students body as an uptight boy-hating demon dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid cafe in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her secret is soon revealed when the somewhat impassive Usui Takumi, a popular boy at school, nonchalantly discovers her in a maid uniform after school.
Scared that he would have revealed everything by the next day and ruined her reputation, Misaki prepares herself for the worst. Much to her surprise though, he decides to keep the secret for himself, making her wonder about his true intentions. Since then, he became a regular at the cafe, leading Misaki to think that he is out to irritate her. But can irritation still be his motive when his frequent appearances make Misaki think more and more of him?
